EVENT IS SOLD OUT!

Do I have to purchase insurance for Youth Events every time ?

Every time your Youth Group is promoting an event that is high risk (campouts, rock climbing, caving etc.…) YES, purchase event insurance. For regular youth/club meetings (includes share your faith, can collecting), your general liability will cover as long as the event is local. If you are taking the club out of your territory, purchase insurance.

Is there any way we could get like a year insurance instead of filling this out every time we go on an activity?.

The only policy purchased for the whole year covers regular club meetings. This typically goes in to effect with our general policy (May to May). Activities Accident will have to be purchased every time you go on high risk activities or activities at a long distance from local church.

Employment

If you’re looking for a summer ministry to be a part of, why not try camp ministry? At Camp Alamisco, our goal is for our staff to have as much of a spiritual experience as the campers who attend. We are looking for anyone who has a positive attitude and is willing to work hard. Staff work under contract between 6-10 weeks during the summer. You will learn how to work with other people, how to work with children, how to manage your time efficiently, deepen your walk with God, and learn how to share the love of Jesus to kids!
Fill out a Staff Application by clicking the button below. Then be sure to schedule an interview with our Camp Director by clicking the button below on the right.

SIT (Staff In Training) is a program for teens age 16 to have the opportunity to see various aspects of summer camp ministry. This program runs for the first 4 weeks of summer camp. SIT’s will be assigned to different departments (e.g., kitchen, horses, canoeing) to learn what it takes to assist or lead in that activity. This gives them a well-rounded idea of what camp life is all about, and will help them have a better idea of what area of camp they would like to work in the future. They are literally staff being trained in all areas of camp. As part of this program, SIT’s will participate in staff training week, work for 1 week, and attend Teen Camp for FREE.
(Teens who do not participate in the SIT program must pay full price for Teen Camp.)
