Retreats
The Young Adult Ministries Department of the Gulf States Conference presents 2 retreats per year for collegiate age youth: one in the spring, and one in the fall. These retreats are geared to ages 18-35. Whether you’re single, married, or have small children, we want all young adults to feel welcome! The purpose of these retreats is to bring together young adults from around the Conference to exchange ideas for outreach and young adult programming, and to encourage each other. The laid back atmosphere of our fall retreat is designed to be a respite from life’s busyness and to encourage spiritual renewal. Our spring retreat is more active, beginning Friday morning with canoeing, water skiing, horseback riding, and more, before settling down for a spiritually rich Sabbath.
