A Work Ordained of God. – God has ordained the canvassing work as a means of presenting before the people the light contained in our books, and canvassers should be impressed with the importance of bringing before the world as fast as possible the books necessary for their spiritual education and enlightenment. This is the very work the Lord would have His people do at this time. All who consecrate themselves to God to work as canvassers are assisting to give the last message of warning to the world. We cannot too highly estimate this work; for were it not for the efforts of the canvasser, many would never hear the warning.

Missionary Report

By the grace of God, an average of 95,000 homes (or more) have been visited each year during 2016-2020. More than one million truth-filled books, such as The Great Controversy, Desire of Ages, Revelation, Health Message, and Steps to Christ have been placed in homes. It is our prayer that these books may convert countless lives who are searching for God’s truth in this world and lead them to Jesus Christ. As an article from Review and Herald written in January 20, 1903, says, “The Lord has sent His people much instruction, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, and there are little . . . to lead men and women to the greater light.” These sales include many books like The Great Controversy, Desire of Ages, Revelation, Health Message, and Steps to Christ; CDs and DVDs. Please continue to pray for the student workers and literature evangelists. We praise the Lord for the individuals that have joined the church through this ministry over the past five years.

Student Magabook Program

The Magabook program gives College students an opportunity to canvass door-to-door sharing books that are provided to our Conference by Home Health Education Services. The funds they earn are applied toward their education. We have held five to six programs every year with at least 15 to 20 students every session. These young volunteers visit a minimum of 100 homes every day. Thousands of Bible study enrollment cards have been received because of their hard work and dedication to Jesus. Many are requesting cooking classes and have been invited to evangelistic meetings. We are excited on growing this ministry over the next five years.

Goals

Our goal in the next five years is to reach every home in Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle. Our objective is to place truth-filled books in their homes so that we may one day praise and worship the Lord together in Heaven. It is our hope that, with the support of our Pastors, we may create literature programs in each Church. Let us continue this work together. Maranatha! Jesus is coming!
