Principal/Teacher (Gr. 5-8) Bass Christian Elementary - Lumberton, MS

Bass Christian Elementary School (BCES) is a first through eighth grade elementary school located near Purvis, Mississippi.  Two classroom teachers provide instruction to an enrollment of over 20 students.  The school is located about 90 miles northeast of New Orleans, LA and is on the boarding school campus of Bass Memorial Academy.  BCES has an opening for a dedicated, caring, and passionate teacher for their grades 5-8 classroom and school principal for the 2023-24 school year.   Applicants for this position must model Christ-like behavior and attitudes which will positively impact students in leading them to Christ.  Applicants must be able to organize and implement an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success.  They must have a strong desire to mentor young people and a willingness to serve others.  For more information about Bass Christian Elementary School, please visit:  https://bass23.adventistschoolconnect.org/


Experience:

The applicant must be a Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification is required and must be maintained.  The applicant will preferably have a minimum of 3-5 years of elementary and multi-grade teaching experience.  Bilingual skills are a plus.
